Oriole the company who made the Embassy disc's for Woolworth's also released an EP of songs from the musical Oliver in 1960, with Davis Kossoff as Fagin, Maureen Evans who now recorded for Oriole, with Chorus and Orchestra Directed by Gordon Franks. Interestingly they have the same six songs, the Embassy Singers and Players would have been session singers does the Chorus have the same session singers?
There is a Boot Sale at Hook Road Arena tomorrow this is an extra one as the one at Apps Farm has been cancelled as there will be a large number of road closures in the area for the Olympic Cycle route practice. I have made other arrangements for Sunday so I will not be going.
