Doris Gould - Nursery Rhymes
This is the only one of today's records that did not come from the Boot Sale this morning this came from a Wimbledon Charity shop last Saturday.
The record number puts this as a 1957 release this is a later pressing as HMV labels were changed in the early 1960's.
This is what I call a Maiden Aunt record as when you visited them this sort of record would be played at some time during the day to keep the children amused, I can also remember the BBC radio program that we pranced around to while I was in the Junior School.
Doris Gould - Nursery Rhymes
Sing A Song Of Sixpence, Lavender Blue, L Had A Little Nut Tree, Hush -A-Bye Baby, Hot Cross Buns.
Polly Put The Kettle On, Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush, Hickory Dickory Dock, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Dame Get Up And Bake Your Pies, Oranges And Lemons.
