This record is in very poor condition as can be seen by the state of the label, the record was caked in something that resembled concrete, the recording has a lot of noise on it.

I tried the wood glue cleaning method, there is an improvement, the record is in very poor condition one day I may find a better copy.
This is sometimes worth a try when a record is totally covered with cruddy material:

ReplyDeleteIronic isn't it, a poor quality record called "Wasteland"? Anyway, don't worry, can hear it quite well and it's a cheery-sounding little tune despite the singer's lament of his heart's forlorn condition.
