Something of a r&b doowop throwback. Quite out if its time frame in 1969 (unless it's a reissue, but then look at who wrote the song).
ReplyDeleteBeatles albums often provided other artists with hit singles.The three most successful I recall were Michelle by The Overlanders Obla Di Obla Da by The Marmalade,and A Little Help From My Friends by Joe Cocker all of which topped the UK charts.In 1967 I can recall a DJ bemoaning the fact that he'd heard at least 10 different cover versions of "When I'm 64".
