I remember a version of "Yummy Yummy Yummy" being used in a TV advert for Danish Bacon....just the right song for food adverts I suppose.Tony Blackburn used to play the Ohio Express original with merciless regularity until it reached the point where my Father refused to allow us kids to listen to his show in case he played "That awful Yummy song".
ReplyDeleteI once had a flexi disc of the advert now long lost, A copy has been posted on You Tube.
DeleteAt the same time as the TV advert you could get a CBS special products EP from Danish Bacon, with tracks by Simon & Garfunkel, Peddlers, Aretha Franklin & Tremeloes, the flexi disc was in the pack.
