I recently posted a Nixa EP by Inia Te Wiata thinking it was the only record by Inia Te Wiata that I had I the found this in one of the boxes, released in 1959 it failed to make the UK chart.
Yesterday morning I was in Epsom in one of the Charity Shops they had a large wind up 78 record player on the turntable was "Bill Hayley -Rock Around The Clock" they were trying to get me to buy it and they played the record everybody in the shop including the young assistants came over to see and hear it, the reproduction was very good much better than I remembered it, the deal included 13 78's I do not know what the other records were, it was priced at £10, I was tempted just for the records, as I had a video camera with me I almost offerd them a couple of quid if they would play it again so I could film and record it, couple of weeks ago some one at Hook Road was selling a portable wind up 78 record player with at least 60 records for £25 the records were all classical,
