The Songs Of Michele Arnaud
I have no information about this record, it has the print date of 10/56 in the bottom right hand corner of the back cover so this was pressed in 1956, I do not know when it was first issued in the UK
I can not remember if this record came from one of the local charity shops or a recent boot sale, I think it was a boot sale as there is no price sticker on the cover.

Trinidad Oil Company - The Calender Song (January, February, March, April May)
I have had to add a filter to the comments box as I was getting a lot of "Spam" promoting websites such as payday loans etc, so far they are only coming in on a few titles one of the Norman Vaughan records had 15 such messages in half a hour.
This is one of the comments
There's definately a great deal to find out about this subject. I really like all of the points you made. payday loans Here is my web blog ... pay day loans on Clean Living - Backwoods Girl
As the track ia a "B" side all I have is the scan of the record and the playbar. One of the early ones must have pressed the notify me by email button and is complaining that every new comment he receives 4 emails.
After I originally left a comment I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment is added I recieve four emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is an easy method you can remove me from that service? Appreciate it! Feel free to surf my homepage Click Here on Norman Vaughan - Put On A Happy Face

I have no details about this 1969 release.
Some time ago we had a flyer put through the door wanting to buy records, the person who originated it was selling records at today's Boot Sale his records were very expensive and he sold very few, one record that I picked up for 20p today he has a copy for £12 other records tat could be picked up for under a pound were priced at £20.
One person was showing one of the record dealers some records he had just got they were all mid 50's rarities with values of £200+ but he had got them at a record fair recently.

I went to the Boot Sale today it was not that large and was over the other side of the field.
This is why the Boot Sale was moved across the field where the puddle is was where I took the picture of last weeks Boot Sale.
Mandy Miller - Nellie The Elephant
First release in 1956 this record has had a number of re-issues this version has never made the UK chart, in 1984 the Toy Dolls made #4 in the UK chart with this song.

Karlins - It's Good To Be Around
Erroll Garner - You Do Something To Me
This 1961 release failed to make the UK chart, by 1961 when this record was issued, the days of the piano players were almost over, people were getting rid of their piano's, there were so many around that nobody wanted a feature of a number of Summer Fetes was a Piano Bashing contest upright bpiano's would be attacked with a sledge hammer and be reduced to pieces to one reduced to the smallest pieces was the winner.
The secondary school I went to, in the evenings had been used by a youth club, the club by a lot of hard work had raised the money to go on a European Football tour playing games against other youth clubs, shortly before the tour was to begin someone at the youth club thought it would be a great idea to push the school's grand piano off the stage and onto the hall floor, this wrecked the piano the insurance did not cover willful damage, the money that the youth club had raised for the football tour went instead to replace the piano and the youth club was disbanded. The school replaced the piano but the piano was never ever put up on the stage again.
